1. First and foremost you have to open the Google Calendar from the following link which is given below

2. After opening the Google Calendar from the given link try to locate the “My calendars” section to the left of Google Calendar.

3. In this step, you have to bring your mouse pointer over the calendar that you want to share, and click on the “Menu” which is represented by three stacked dots. (Refer to the picture given below).

4. After clicking on the “Menu” option click on the “Settings and sharing” option to open all the settings for that specific calendar.

5. As you enter the “Settings and sharing” option, you will all find the sharing options which are present on the right side of the current window under the “Settings for my calendars” section.

6. There are basically two types of sharing option but as we are showing you the method to share Google Calendar with the public so you should select “Make available to public” setting, which is present under the “Access Permissions” section.

Note: By selecting “Make available to public” setting, you can share the Google Calendar with literally anyone who has the URL.

7. After selecting the “Make available to public” setting in the previous step, now either you have to select “See only free/busy (hide details)” or “See all event details” depending on the amount of details that you want to show to the public.

Note: If you select “See only free/busy (hide details)” option then the public can only see limited details of your Google Calendar. On the other hand, if you select “See all event details,” then all the public who has the link can see and access every detail of your Google Calendar.

8. Select the “GET SHAREABLE LINK” option after selecting any of the options between “See only free/busy (hide details)” or “See all event details.” As soon as you select the “GET SHAREABLE LINK” option, you will get the URL that you will require to share the Google Calendar.

So By following these eight simple steps, you will be able to share Google calendar with a group of people. But always you may not like to share the Google Calendar with the public instead you may decide to share the Google Calendar with a specific person.

A simple method to share Google Calendar with a specific individual

1. This method is identified as the last method till the step number 5. In the step number 5, you have to enter the “Settings and sharing” option where you will find all the sharing options which are present on the right side of the current window under the “Settings for my calendars” section.

2. In the step number 6 of this method instead of selecting “Make available to the public” setting you to have to select “Share with specific people” option which is present under the “Settings for my calendars” section.

3. After selecting the “Share with specific people” option click on “ADD PEOPLE” option and enter the email address of the person with whom you want to share the Google Calendar. After entering the email address of the person just click on the send button to share your Google calendar with that person.

Note: You also have to define the extent up to which you will allow that particular person to access your Google Calendar. You can limit their permissions by selecting any of the following options which include “See only free/busy (hide details)”,” See all event details”, “Make changes to events”, and “Make changes and manage to share.”
